The Violin

The violin is an instrument part of the strings family (which also includes the viola, cello, and double bass), and is one of the most popular instruments in the world. It has 4 strings: the G, D, A, and E strings. The violin uses a bow made of horse hairs (with rawsin applied) to produce sound from the strings.

You will learn the parts of the violin, how to play it, and how to read the music. We will only be covering the basics here. There are more advanced techniques you will learn as you advance, such as vibrato, trills, shifting, and more! Keep in mind that playing the violin, or any instrument in general, takes a long time to learn and become good at.
